SheVaCon is an Educational Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Convention that is held in Roanoke, VA annually in February. We expect to have an estimated 1,000+ attendees over the weekend of the convention. It is the premier multi-media convention of Southwestern Virginia.
SheVaCon’s 2012 convention will be held from February 17-19 in the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, which will greatly increase the size and scale of the convention. Special events at the convention include Celebrity appearances (Q&A’s, lectures, autographs & signings, photo-ops), Gaming tournaments, Workshops and Discussion Panels by Guest Artists, Authors, and other special interest groups and persons (Costuming, Paranormal, Fan Groups, etc.). There is also the Art Show, Charity Auction, and a special Costume Contest Masquerade to showcase the creativity and skills of our attendees, and so much more.
SheVaCon is run by Shevacon, Inc., a registered charitable organization. A portion of our proceeds goes to our Scholarship funds for graduating high school Seniors and Freshman college students, for both the Arts and Literature. We host a Charity Auction during the convention to benefit the Scholarships using items donated by celebrity guests, local businesses and companies, and other participants including vendors of the convention. All proceeds of that auction will be donated to the SheVaCon Scholarship Funds.

Partnerships - We define a Partner as a company who may not be able to offer direct financial assistance, however can offer trade for goods/services in equivalent value.

- Discount Advertising in our program guide book (fee may be waived based on value of goods/services offered)
- Mutually shared advertising during promotional activities and on promotional materials

Sponsorship - We define a Sponsor as a person or company who can infuse working capital into our organization.
Benefits of all Sponsorship Levels:

- You may also place free advertising on our website as a sponsor
- Your company will be mentioned throughout the convention
- Your logo on all printed materials, as well as on all online advertising

Other Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsor a Guest - If any guests remain un-sponsored, you may choose to present the Guest. You will also be encouraged to display signage for the duration of the Guest's presentation. You will also have the priviledges of a Bronze level sponsor. Your company will receive special thanks on our website and during our opening and/or closing ceremonies.
Sponsor a Guest - Variable Amount
Sponsor an Intimate VIP Guest Experience Event - An event which will give attendees who sponsor the VIP event the opportunity to mingle with Special Guests at the convention in a private party setting. This could range from a small dinner party, to something a bit larger based on the number of sponsors. A group of persons/attendees may donate individually to be part of the special event, or may take up a collection to be submitted. This type of event is of limited capacity to keep it's exclusivity intact.

A convention program guide book will be distributed to all 1,000+ attendees and guests at the convention. For local businesses, this is a great opportunity to spread the word. For partners & sponsors, discounted advertising is available. These are the prices for standard advertising in our program guide book.
Advertising reserved for 14-15 pages of a 36 page program book (including the cover). Standard 8.5" x 11" finished size. The examples below represent the sizing of the ads on a standard A4 (8.5" x 11") page.
