Interactive Programming, Games & Fun

In addition to our usual panels, demos, workshops, and round-table discussions... there's also Interactive programming... where we invite you, the audience, to participate. This can range from a sing-a-long type of event for a special picture show or blog, to a fully immersive life-size board game with a plot twist. There's also games that the entire family can enjoy, kids crafts, scavenger hunts, and so much more to come.

Catch the Bounty Hunter! - Jeremy Bulloch playing the part of the Bounty Hunter! :)
(Based on Kill Doctor Lucky)
Why do all mystery games start just after the fun is over? Welcome to a Galactic Empire Mansion; full of unusual weapons, good hiding places, and craven Hunters. Hunters like you! The Object? Catch Boba Fett! Find a weapon, track the old man down, and capture him. The obstacles? For one thing, all of your friends would rather do it first. For another, Boba Fett is a Bounty Hunter, after all, and knows all of your tactics. So give it your best shot and be the first to Catch The Bounty Hunter to Win!

Drawing Arena
Located in the Art Show - tables will be set up with some basic drawing supplies for the kids... or a fun place for the artists to hang out and draw too!  So stop in, throw down some lines onto the paper and create to your hearts content! :)

Photos for Charity

Photos for Charity is a fun little activity that started a few years back by our local 501st Legion fan group... Garrison Tyranus. Although this year, it's got a new twist.

Photos4Charity_ExamplePreviously the photo-ops included you and the costumed fan group member(s) of your choice.  This year... it's no holds barred! All-inclusive is the name of the game this year, and with a hint of Victorian to boot.

For the low price of $5.00 per photo, you have the option of posing by yourself, with your friends, with your favorite characters from the Fan Groups, and even have a Victorian look added to the photo if you choose! And the best part... a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the SheVaCon Scholarship Funds for the Scholarship Winners!

Also, to mark our 20th Anniversary, and in honor of our historic location this year, we are also adding a Special Commemorative Photo Border design that's exclusive for SheVaCon 2012 only!

So, if you're looking for a con keepsake, or just a moment forever captured in time - This is definitely for you!

Photos will be available for download after the convention

Scholarship Charity Auction

The Scholarship Charity Auction is an event that we have every year that raises money for our Scholarship Winners to help offset some of their education costs.   Items are contributed to the auction from our Guests of Honor, Dealers, Artists, Writers, as well as several businesses and companies.  The higher the dollar amount given for each item, the more we can give to the Scholarship Winners.
