Hall Costume Contest Reintroducing
the Best Costume Event of all, the Hall Costume competition. That's right, just
wearing a costume at the con can net you a nifty "Hey that's an awesome costume
you got there" nod from our roving secret judges.
This competition
runs from start of ShevaCon on Friday and goes on until 6pm on Saturday of the
convention. So throw on your favorite costume, walk around, have a good time,
and you might just get a pleasant surprise. Hall costumes are any costume worn
during the con that is not specifically entered into the Masquerade contest. These
costumes are judged by roving secret judges and are awarded on the spot by those
judges. These awards are a nod to all the hard work that goes into a costume that
is just being worn for fun by a fan. Recipients of the Hall Costume award are
asked to display their costumes during the Masquerade for all to see. There
will be a Best Hall Costume award that is awarded at the Masquerade. Hall costumes
are not subject to the close scrutiny of the rest of the costume call judging
as this is a just for fun segment of the costume call and the Best Hall Costume
award is by the popular vote. Hall costumes are not required to produce any documentation
or reference material at all for their pieces.
All guests, programming and events are subject to change
without notice.
