Artist Guest
Cynthia Sheppard is a young alternative/fantasy illustrator hailing from Northern VA. Specializing in digital painting, she illustrates for games and books and spends most of her free time working on building her portfolio. Her work has been seen at festival shows and small galleries on the East Coast, as well as being published in magazines and books, such as Forbidden Whispers and Spectrum 15. Recently, Cynthia worked on the OZ Collectible Card Game for Orion's Bell, while also working on projects for online adventure gaming companies Zynga and Sinister Adventures. Between working on a children's book, a dark adult fantasy novel, and several other exciting projects, she's preparing for upcoming shows in 2009 and is currently busy creating digital painting tutorials for her website, www.sheppard-arts.com. Cynthia is honored and excited to be invited to SheVaCon as an art guest, and is looking forward to seeing everyone in February!
